How much can your business actually borrow?

One number gets you a real answer: your average monthly turnover. No forms, no phone number, no teaser figure. Just the honest range lenders typically work to for unsecured business finance.

The estimator

From turnover to borrowing power.

Nothing is saved or sent to a lender. The range is indicative, general information only, and your actual capacity depends on your full profile.

Why a range, not a number

Because a single number would be a guess dressed up.

Any site that turns one input into one precise dollar figure is selling certainty it does not have. Turnover anchors what lenders will consider, but time trading, industry, credit profile and security all move the result. We would rather give you an honest range and then find your real number properly: free, and with no credit check until you choose a lender. While you are here, check what the repayments would look like with the business loan calculator.

Fair questions

Asked about borrowing capacity specifically.

How do lenders decide how much a business can borrow?

For unsecured finance, the anchor is your revenue: lenders size facilities against your recent monthly turnover, then adjust for time trading, industry, credit profile and existing commitments. That is why one number, your average monthly turnover, gives a genuinely useful first estimate.

Can I borrow more than this range?

Often, yes. The range covers typical unsecured facilities. Security changes the picture entirely: property, vehicles, equipment or unpaid invoices can support materially larger facilities through asset-backed or invoice finance.

Is this range a quote or an approval?

Neither. It is an honest indicative range so you walk in with realistic expectations, not a teaser number designed to get your phone number. Your actual number depends on your full profile, and checking it with us is free and does not touch your credit score.

What turnover figure should I use?

Your average monthly sales over the last few months, as they appear in your business bank account. If your revenue is seasonal, use a typical month rather than your best one; lenders will read your statements the same way.
